GOLPP - Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis Polyneuropathy

Project Marble

Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis Polyneuropathy, a progressive nerve disease that affects older medium- and large-breed dogs, causing breathing difficulties, swallowing issues, and hind-leg weakness. The average age of onset is around 11 years old, and common breeds affected include Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds.

Foundation wants to contribute to the efforts to fight this disease. An effective treatment can dramatically improve the quality of life of geriatric dogs at later stage. We are actively searching for ways to help by using our limited resources. We call this project Marble. We mainly look for two venues. One is a potential direct coordination effort. The other is through donation to fund programs.
